DAISY FLORENCE MOORE

Daisy is a writer and director, originally from Nottingham. Her debut short 'Rituals' (2016) was a BFI.NETWORK postroom pick and nominated for Best Women Director at London Short Film Festival. During lockdown she won the Curzon Cinemas x Agua De Madre female filmmaker competition with short 'Anti-dote' (2020), that played on the Curzon Home Cinema channel and premiered as part of DepicT! shorts at Encounters Film Festival.
Daisy's third short '7 Bananas' (2021) was chosen for SHORTflix, a development scheme for young filmmakers from SKY & Creative England, and has screened at BIFA and BAFTA-qualifying festivals. Including BFI Women With A Movie Camera 2023, and nominated at Underwire Film Festival 2022 and won best script at Women X Film Festival 2022.
As an actor Daisy trained with the National Youth Theatre, and has appeared in Poldark, Doctors and feature film Starfish opposite Joanne Froggatt to name a few. She was nominated for Best Actress at the British Short Film Awards 2022.
